Parlay (or Accumulator) Bet
A punter makes simultaneous selections on two or more races with the intention of forwarding the winnings from the first race onward to the next selected race’s bet, and so on. All of a punters selections must win in order to win the parlay. If a race is a tie, canceled or postponed, the parlay is reduced by one selection, for example a double parlay becomes a straight bet, a triple parlay becomes a double.

Future Bet
A wager on a future race. At the start of each season, a sportsbooks posts odds for horses to win a certain event. These odds change as the race date approaches, but if you win, you get paid at the original odds posted.
