What’s better than a Double Diamond? Why, a Triple Diamond, of course!
Like Double Diamond, Triple Diamond gets its name from the diamonds (duh!) and the multiplier; when you get a triple diamond, you get three times your bet.
Unlike Double Diamond, IGT has not had Wagerworks work up an online version of Triple Diamond yet.
We’re sad about it too. However, there are a number of ways to get the same experience from online slots.
Classic 3-reel Triple Diamond land-based slots have been seen in a single-payline configuration as well as the more rare 3-line setup. The models currently being produced by IGT include one, three, and five-line versions.
We’ve also see some with the “Haywire” function, which randomly repeats your winnings, as well as some with the “nudge” function, which lets you move a reel after it is done spinning.
There’s also a progressive 3-reel Triple Diamond out there, as well as the rarely-seen Triple Double Diamond, which features a huge top jackpot.
Newer versions include 4-reel versions (which seem to only ever come as single-line machines) and even 5-reel Triple Diamond machines, with 9 paylines.
If you like diamonds, you’ll be happy to know that few things are as common on online slots (cherries, bars, and sevens are pretty easy to find, too!).
If you’re more interested in reel slots with a wild symbol and a 3x multiplier, you’ll be even happier to know that there is no shortage of online slots with that configuration.
