While the rules and numbers differ from one country to another, bingo cards are the fundamental “game board” for bingo in either 90-ball (UK style) or 75-ball (US style). They look significantly different:
As you can see, the standard format for bingo cards in the United States (75 Ball Bingo) is a 5×5 grid with the center marked “Free” and the remaining squares filled with numbers.

These particular beauties come from the “Beach Blanket Bingo” room over at BingoHall.com
In 75-ball bingo, specific numbers will always fall under specific letters:
- B (1 to 15)
- I (16 to 30)
- N (31 to 45)
- G (46 to 60)
- O (61 to 75)
On the other hand, the UK cards (90 Ball Bingo) are in a 9×3 format with four blank spaces and five numbered squares per row.

This particular example shows the fine graphics and fun colors of Foxy Bingo!
In 90-ball bingo, each row represents ten consecutive numbers:
- Row 1 (1 to 10)
- Row 2 (11 to 20)
- Row 3 (21 to 30)
- Row 4 (31 to 40)
- Row 5 (41 to 50)
- Row 6 (51 to 60)
- Row 7 (61 to 70)
- Row 8 (71 to 80)
- Row 9 (81 to 90)
Obviously, the winning combinations are also going to be quite different. We’ll cover more about that on our pages on bingo rules, how to play bingo, and the separate US & UK bingo pages.
